Apache HTTP Server

PLATFORM

This integration is delivered as an application driver distributed with Certificate Manager, Self-Hosted. It supports the management of PEM files for Apache web servers running on Linux or Windows by enabling you to provision the end-entity, chain, and private key to a single file (rather than two or three separate files), and provision certificates that use ECC keys generated centrally or remotely (using the SafeNet Luna SA HSM). This extension of the automation and policy-compliant machine identity management on to Apache web servers that are hosting the critical services, applications, and content of your web infrastructure effectively rid the outages caused by expired or misconfigured certificates which are one of the major time-consuming, expensive, and even job-threatening challenges. This integration comes with all releases of Certificate Manager, Self-Hosted 18.3+. It is also part of the TLS Protect Cloud offering. Applicability Apache HTTP Server is a popular and trusted choice for enterprise environments due to its reliability, scalability, and security features. It is commonly used in enterprise environments, including large corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. The Apache HTTP Server can be deployed in various cloud environments, including public clouds like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), private clouds, and hybrid clouds. This integration works for all deployments of Apache HTTP Server in any type of infrastructures, being it cloud or in the datacenter.
