Secur Solutions's EJBCA Enterprise adaptable driver allows customizing and issuing certificates with a configurable and randomized serial number with a prefix value. The primary benefit of this is to provide a way to issue certificates with a configurable serial number for legacy applications which are using EJBCA Enterprise .
Applicability
Organizations migrating from other CAs and which have legacy applications requiring that the serial number be in a specific format can utilize this adaptable driver for EJBCA. This solution can help customers with legacy applications and having on premise CA especially customers with highly regulated air-gapped environments to issue the certificates with a specific format.
